Using the MySQL 8.0 client is not currently supported with SAS/ACCESS Interface to MySQL.
The MySQL 8.0 client is different from the previous MySQL 5.x client versions. If you use the MySQL 8.0 client, you encounter problems in which tables do not show in libraries or code does not run successfully. Downgrading to the MySQL 5.7 client circumvents the problems.
